3. AGE LIMIT
- Age will be reckoned as on 01.01.2027.
- Post-wise age limits range from 18-33, 19-33, 20-33, 21-30, 20-35 and 20-40 years as prescribed for the respective posts.
- SC & ST candidates: 5 years upper-age relaxation.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years upper-age relaxation.
- PwBD: 10 years for UR/EWS, 13 years for OBC(NCL), and 15 years for SC/ST.
- Eligible Ex-servicemen receive relaxation as prescribed in the CEN.
- Female candidates who are widowed, divorced or judicially separated and not remarried: UR/EWS up to 35 years, OBC(NCL) up to 38 years, SC/ST up to 40 years.

5. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

| Health & Malaria Inspector Grade II | B.Sc. having studied Chemistry as Main/Optional subject in any branch of Chemistry, plus One year Diploma of Health/Sanitary Inspector OR One year NTC in Health Sanitary Inspector awarded by NCVT, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. |
| Audiologist & Speech Therapist | Bachelor in Audiology, Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from a recognized University and registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). |

| Radiographer X-Ray Technician | 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry and Diploma in Radiography/X Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology of 2 years from a recognized Institute. Several equivalent qualifications including specified B.Sc. and Radiation Technology qualifications are also acceptable. |
| ECG Technician | 10+2/Graduation in Science having Certificate/Diploma/Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology/Cardiology/Cardiology Technician/Cardiology Techniques from a reputed institution. Certificate should be minimum one year duration and above. |
| Optometrist | B.Sc. in Optometry or Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician of 3 to 4 years duration. Candidate should have Registration with the concerned Council/Licensing body. |
| Lab Assistant Grade II | 12th (10+2 stage) in Science plus Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) OR qualifying Certificate Course in Medical Lab Technology at par with DMLT. B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology is also acceptable. |

- CBT consists of 100 objective multiple-choice questions.
- Duration: 90 minutes; 120 minutes for eligible PwBD/PWD candidates using the scribe facility.
- Negative marking: 1/3 mark for every wrong answer.
- Candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification based on CBT performance and qualifying marks.
- Empanelment is based on CBT merit, successful Document Verification and prescribed medical examination.

9. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Candidates must possess the prescribed educational/technical/professional qualification on or before the closing date 14.10.2026.
- Candidates awaiting final results of the prescribed qualification are NOT eligible to apply.
- Only one application may be submitted against this CEN. Multiple applications will lead to rejection and debarment.
- Candidates can choose only one RRB and indicate preferences for eligible posts and Railway Zones within that chosen RRB.
- Vacancies are provisional and may increase, decrease or become NIL depending on Railway requirements.
- Candidates must maintain their own active mobile number and personal email ID throughout the recruitment process.
- Aadhaar or DigiLocker authentication is advised during account creation.
- The prescribed medical standard must be satisfied for the opted post; medically unsuitable candidates will not receive an alternative appointment.
10. HOW TO APPLY
- Read the detailed CEN carefully before filling the online application.
- Create an account through the official RRB website. Candidates with an account from previous RRB CENs should use the same credentials.
- A valid personal mobile number and active email ID are mandatory for OTP-based account creation.
- Details entered in the Create an Account form, including mobile number and email ID, cannot be changed later.
- Fill the online application with correct information and provide post/zone preferences for eligible posts.
- Pay the applicable examination fee through Internet Banking, Debit/Credit Card or UPI.
- Application acceptance is confirmed after successful fee payment through email and SMS.
- A live photograph is captured during application; candidates do not upload a pre-existing photograph.
